New fusion breakfast restaurant is coming to midtown Sacramento. Here’s what we know so far

A new Asian-fusion breakfast restaurant is coming to midtown.

Sunny Side hung its restaurant name outside 1221 19th St., bringing the opening of the restaurant one step closer. The orange sign with cursive lettering is up while remodeling takes place inside the building. If you peak inside, you’ll see bare walls and equipment laid out. . The playful logo has an outline of what could be a sunny side up egg.

The restaurant window has a beverage application notice posted for beer and wine sales.

An Instagram and Facebook page have been created for the restaurant, but has limited information on what’s to come. A February article from the Sacramento Business Journal stated the restaurant hopes to open over the summer.

The restaurant owner did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
