Clarksburg winery to open second location in midtown Sacramento. Here’s when and where
Northern California’s wine scene will soon make room for another winery and this one isn’t new to the world of bottling and tastings.
Rendez-Vous Winery will open the doors to its second location in the Sacramento area on 16th Street in midtown, according to a Facebook post from the business. The July grand opening to its wine garden will have wine — by the glass, bottle and partially frozen — as well as small bites.
No reservations are required. Rendez-Vous Winery’s first location is at the Old Sugar Mill at 35265 Willow Ave. in Clarksburg, where its wines are produced in small batches.
“Our team could not be more proud to share this special place with the Sacramento community,” the winery wrote on its Facebook page “and we are eternally grateful for your support and patience during this journey!”
In 2017, Rendez Vous Winery won the best of show white wine award at the California State Fair for its 2016 viognier.

Grand opening hours: Saturday, July 29, noon to 8 p.m.
Regular hours: 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday; noon to 8 p.m. Saturday through Sunday
Red wine prices range from $31 of 2017 petit verdot to a $62 bottle of red wine blend. Other wines include cabernet sauvignon, petite sirah, 2020 primitivo, 2019 barbera and 2020 cabernet franc.
White wine prices range from a $15 pack of four sparking rosé cans to a $32 bottle of rosé. Other wines include 2021 sauvignon blanc, 2022 chenin blanc, 2021 chardonnay, 2021 pinot gris and 202 viognier.
