Boutique wine and spirits shop reopens in Sacramento. See where — and when it’s open

A boutique wine and liquor store has reopened in Sacramento, claiming a new spot in the core of midtown.

Good Bottle Shop, which sells fine wines, specialty spirits and bar tools, opened on Saturday at 2527 J St., according to its social media post.

Nestled between J Street Market and a wellness center, the new location is hard to miss with its light pink exterior.

Good Bottle Shop was previously located at 1123 11th St. in downtown Sacramento.

That location closed in 2022 due to difficulty operating with nearby construction, street closures and lack of parking, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.

Good Bottle Shop said it carries a curated selection of products based on sustainability, quality of production, whether the product is underrepresented and if it’s “awesome.”

“We strive to find products that are of a certain quality, that have an amazing story and are simply just good,” the shop said on its website.

Good Bottle Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
