Nick the Greek is opening a new location in the Sacramento area, making it the 70th restaurant for the Greek food franchise.

The newest Nick the Greek location will open its doors at 5355 Sunrise Blvd. in Fair Oaks on Tuesday, Feb. 27, according to a news release.

It’ll be in the same plaza as Sushimono and Trader Joe’s.

What is Nick the Greek?

Nick the Greek was founded in 2015 in Northern California and has since expanded across the country to Nevada, Texas and Utah, according to the release.

The fast-casual restaurant chain has many locations in California, including spots in Concord, Davis, Elk Grove and Roseville.

According to its website, more locations are coming, too, including Alameda, Tracy and Irvine.

What’s on the menu at new Sacramento-area location?

Menu items at Nick the Greek include meat or falafel pitas, rice plates and gyro bowls. There are also salads and specialty fries.

How to get free lunch at Fair Oaks restaurant opening

As a part of its grand opening, the Fair Oaks location will offer free lunch to customers from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.

All you have to do is arrive within that time and you can get a complementary entree.
