Oreo's New Cookie Is Inspired by a Nostalgic Summer Treat
Oreo's newest cookie flavor has fans bursting with excitement.
As if it wasn't enough to get the return of the s'mores-flavored Oreos (S'moreos), this season, fans have another summery staple-inspired sandwich cookie to enjoy: Oreo Firecracker Pop.
The new limited-time release is inspired by the childhood favorite ice pop of the same name and even though it was only formally announced today, it actually leaked online earlier this week to the delight of fans everywhere.

"Oh snap!" one exclaimed in a comment on Instagram.
"They look like they would be good," a second suggested, noting that the offer is "perfect for Fourth of July" (and your party spread for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, if you ask us).
"Wish it had the little popping candies!" one more declared.

So, what exactly will the Oreo Firecracker Pop Cookies taste like? Hopefully, very close to the iconic Bomb Pop (also known as the Firecracker Popiscle and Rocket Pop).
According to an official description shared with Parade, the new cookies are inspired by the beloved nostalgic frozen treat and pack a "triple-flavor punch" with blue raspberry, lemon, and cherry flavor creme sandwiched between two classic golden cookies, creating a "unique, multi-layered taste experience with every bite."
Where Will the New Limited-Edition Oreos Be Sold?
Oreo said its new Firecracker Pop Cookies will be available at retailers nationwide, for a limited time, while supplies last beginning Monday, May 4.
