Welch's Debuts New Limited-Edition Sparkling Drink Flavor for America's 250th - And It Has Been Highly Requested
Welch's is releasing a brand-new flavor of its fan-favorite sparkling beverage that has become a staple for all life's celebrations (especially kid-friendly events)-and it has been highly requested. In honor of America's 250th anniversary this year-and Welch's 150-year legacy-the juice brand is getting in the patriotic spirit by adding a blue drink to its offerings, complementing its current red and white options.
Joining Sparkling Strawberry and Sparkling White Grape is the limited-edition Welch's Sparkling Blueberry, just in time for summer. Featuring a premium commemorative design, the sip completes the perfect red, white, and blue trio for everything from upcoming holiday weekends to family gatherings and everyday backyard moments.
"The highly requested light, fizzy, and fruity new flavor is rolling out at select retailers now, including Costco and Walmart, featuring festive Americana packaging," the brand noted in a press release shared directly with Parade.
The launch is part of Welch's seasonal "Break Out the Fancy Juice" campaign.
"Summer is full of moments worth celebrating," said Andrew Hartshorn, Chief Brand and Innovation Officer at Welch's. "With our new limited-edition Sparkling Blueberry flavor and festive packaging, we wanted to create something elevated and easy to serve, fun to share, and special for the whole family to enjoy together. As a company proudly owned by over 600 American family farmers, introducing this seasonal lineup during America's 250th anniversary felt especially meaningful."
On Instagram, shoppers reacted to the brand's announcement of the new flavor with comments like, "Perfect for my bbqs!" and "Yum!!!!"
Meanwhile, Welch's hopped into the video's comment section to confirm that the new launch "Tastes like summer ☀️."
In addition to the special summer lineup, Welch's Sparkling is available in seven real fruit flavors at major retailers nationwide for around $3.98 per bottle.
