Four Sacramento area doughnut shops make top 100 National Doughnut Day list

Four doughnut shops in the Sacramento area are among the top 100 small and medium-sized doughnut shops that DoorDash customers love, according to the delivery service.

The “Donut Day Dozens” is out just in time for National Doughnut Day, celebrated on the first Friday of June.

“Donut shops are true neighborhood institutions that people return to week after week,” said Ruth Isenstadt, Head of U.S. Restaurants at DoorDash. “With our inaugural Donut Day Dozens list, we’re proud to shine a light on 100 of the top-rated neighborhood favorites that share joy, sweetness, and convenience with communities across the country.”

The ratings were based on DoorDash information gathered April 2025 through April 2026 spanning 86 cities and 25 states. Small and medium-sized donut shops with fewer than 10 stores, at least 1,000 lifetime reviews, and the highest average consumer ratings during the time frame were targeted.
