Taco Bell is launching an all-new fajita-inspired menu this summer, and the hot update is bringing a spectacle of its own-just not how you may think.

The classic Tex-Mex dish typically features grilled steak, sauteed onions and bell peppers. Over the years, places like Chili's have served it with signature eye-catching elements like a sizzlin' cast-iron skillet presentation. But Taco Bell isn't just any other chain. It's where fast-food connoisseurs go to "live más," so of course it's putting its own spin on the iconic dish-including the release of an ultra-exclusive collectible to honor its debut.

"Fajitas have a way of making an impression, and we wanted to bring that same excitement and unmistakable flavor to the menu in a way fans can experience wherever they are," Taco Bell chief marketing officer Luis Restrepo shared in a statement shared on Tuesday.

Restrepo explained that these new recipes aim to center the ingredients that "make fajitas so iconic," while bringing that flavor to "formats fans already love, so they get everything they crave without the sizzling spectacle."

Taco Bell Brings 'Bold' Fajita-Style Flavor to Menus With 2 New Limited-Edition Items

Taco Bell locations nationwide will soon offer "bold fajita flavor" in the form of FajitaStreet Chalupas, which it said reimagines the fajita experience as Taco Bell's "most mouthwatering Street Chalupa remix yet," and the "craveable" Chicken Fajita Nacho Fries.

  • FajitaStreet Chalupas ($5.99): Features layers of tender peppers and seasoned onions with tangy, savory notes of chili, onion and garlic inside indulgent, cheesy Street Chalupa shells. Served as a pair with marinated steak or slow-roasted chicken, finished with Creamy Jalapeño sauce and an onion-cilantro blend.
  • Chicken Fajita Nacho Fries ($5.49): Seasoned with bold Mexican-inspired spices, the latest topped-fry creation layers savory slow-roasted chicken, fresh peppers and onions, Creamy Jalapeño sauce, reduced-fat sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and a blend of cheeses for a craveable twist on fajita flavor.

Taco Bell said the new items would both launch later this week and become available nationwide for a limited time beginning on Thursday, June 18 (prices may vary).

Taco Bell Unwraps 'Extra Fajita Flair' With Exclusive Ian Charms Collection

To celebrate its new menu and continue its recent tradition of rewarding its Rewards members with exclusive merch, Taco Bell is dropping a limited-edition necklace from Los Angeles-based jewelry brand Ian Charms.

The exclusive charm necklace features a mix of five custom Taco Bell charms, including Street Chalupas, Fire Hot Sauce packets, Mountain Dew Baja Blast cups, Taco Bell's iconic purple bells, and other "fajita-inspired details" in vibrant hues commemorating the new menu items.

All that said, it seems only 300 Taco Bell x Ian Charms necklaces exist and they're all launching exclusively via the Tuesday Drops page in the Taco Bell app. To try and score the bling, super fans will have to mark their calendars for June 23 at 2 p.m. PST (5 p.m. EST) and hope they're lucky enough to be among the first few to win the summery, statement piece.
