The dish: My bridge group goes to Aptos every year for seven days. This year, one of the ladies took us to a new restaurant we’d never experienced: Cafe Cruz in Soquel. I ordered this wonderful calamari steak sandwich that was absolutely the most delicious I’ve ever had (served on an onion roll with avocado, tomato, shaved romaine, onions, and chipotle tartar sauce).
