The dish: This is apple strudel at its finest. We were in Bacharach, Germany, in May. When in Germany, what do you order for dessert? Strudel! This apple strudel just melted in our mouths, warm and moist with just a hint of cinnamon that did not overwhelm the apples. The ice cream and the whipped cream only added to our pure enjoyment.
