Artisan Cheese Festival

For the first time, the venerable Artisan Cheese Festival (March 18-20), mostly staged inside and around the Sheraton-Sonoma County in Petaluma and at farms in Marin and Sonoma counties, has added the Sacramento region to its itinerary.
The festival’s Capitol Area Tour North will visit the Pedrozco Dairy and Cheese Co., Orland Farmstead Creamery and the Sierra Nevada Cheese Co. The Capitol Area Tour South will make stops at Fiscalini Farms, Nicolau Farms, Nutcher Milk Co. and the Michael David Winery.
The North tour departs at 8:30 a.m. from Nugget Market in Woodland (157 Main St.). The South tour departs at 8:30 a.m. from the Sacramento Natural Food Co-op (1900 Alhambra Blvd.). Ticket price includes lunch and transportation.
