a2 Milk

$4.29 for a half gallon; Sprouts and other retailers;

Trouble digesting milk? The Aussie company behind a2 uses cows that make a single type of beta-casein protein. The result, they say, is a milk that’s tolerable for just about any belly. The product has become a huge hit in Australia, grabbing almost a 10 percent share of the fresh milk market.

Glaceau Sparkling Smart Water

$1.99 for 1 liter; Raley’s and other retailers;

Now you can get your electrolytes with a carbonated fizz. This new version of the sports H20 is vapor-distilled for a clean, refreshing flavor.

For the first time, the venerable Artisan Cheese Festival (March 18-20), mostly staged inside and around the Sheraton-Sonoma County in Petaluma and at farms in Marin and Sonoma counties, has added the Sacramento region to its itinerary.

The North tour departs at 8:30 a.m. from Nugget Market in Woodland (157 Main St.). The South tour departs at 8:30 a.m. from the Sacramento Natural Food Co-op (1900 Alhambra Blvd.). Ticket price includes lunch and transportation.

Taylor’s Vanilla Marshmallow Bunnies

It’s a new offering from the frozen-treat franchise. Pick any ice cream flavor, then smoosh it between warm cookies in flavors including Dark Chocolate Chunk, Double Fudge and White Chunk Macadamia Nut. Need we say more?
