Ol' Republic Brewery's taproom in Rancho Cordova, the first branch stemming from its Nevada City brewery, will hold its grand opening Friday afternoon.
The taproom at 11151 Trade Center Dr., Suite 104 near the intersection of Folsom and Sunrise boulevards held a soft opening last weekend ahead of Friday's 2:45 p.m. ribbon-cutting, which will feature food from North Border Taco truck, bocce ball, bouncy castles and brewery tours. It'll also be the first time Trailside, a new hazy IPA, flows from Ol' Republic's taps ahead of daily events during Sacramento Beer Week.
Ol' Republic is selling $20 event vouchers that include a ride from the Nevada City brewery at 12:30 p.m., a ride home at 7:30 p.m. and two free drink tickets at the Rancho Cordova taproom. Co-owners Jim Hart and Simon Olney will also match any in-person donations made to Bear Yuba Land Trust on Friday up to $500.
Rancho Cordova's Barrel District now boasts seven breweries and distilleries with three more on the way, according to an Ol' Republic press release.
