Ludy’s BBQ restaurant in Woodland to reopen for dinner later in the week
A Woodland restaurant is only temporarily closed and will soon reopen again for dinner.
Paul “Ludy” Ludovina, the proprietor of Ludy’s, 667 Main St., posted a notice outside the restaurant on Sunday, saying Ludy’s was temporarily closed for restructuring of the dining schedule. That sent longtime patrons of his barbecue restaurant to wondering if the eatery would remained closed, he said.
Not to fear, Ludovina said on Tuesday, because the closing is only temporary. The restaurant hopes to open for dinner on Thursday.
“We are so busy with our catering, which will continue, so we will no longer do lunches so we can adequately do the catering,” Ludovina said. “And we are going to be more of a dinner house, probably open Wednesday through Sunday.”
The same menu is planned with barbecue ribs and chicken the main draw at Ludy’s, which opened in 1994.
