A little slice of Italy is on its way to Roseville.
Flour Dust Pizza, a Sacramento-area pizza catering company, announced in a social media post Wednesday it will open its first brick-and-mortar location at 5080 Foothills Boulevard.
Flour Dust currently operates out of a food truck and exclusively does catering. It offers traditional, brick-oven Italian pizza. The menu includes classics like margherita and pepperoni. Flour Dust also creates seasonal specialties like smoked salmon or roasted fig and prosciutto.
The company is family owned. Chef Mano Vrapi studied pizza-making in Florence, Italy, before building the business back in Sacramento. The menu is pizza-focused but also offers appetizers, antipasto trays, salads and desserts.
