Mongolian BBQ restaurant closing in El Dorado Hills shopping plaza after more than 12 years

An El Dorado Hills Town Center restaurant will close for the third consecutive month when Sizzling Fresh Mongolian BBQ shuts its doors on Jan. 26, according to a Facebook announcement Monday.

Sizzling Fresh was founded at 2023 Vine St. #101 more than 12 years ago and underwent a remodel in 2017 after being bought by new owners.

Located next to the Regal El Dorado Hills movie theater, Sizzling Fresh’s deals include free meals for kids on Wednesdays and all-you-can-eat dinners for $12.75.

El Dorado Hills Town Center also lost Osteria Motto (November) and Ruffhaus Hot Dog Co. (December) in recent months. Across the region, at least 13 restaurants have closed or announced their impending closure since Dec. 29.
