Popular Rocklin brunch restaurant BarnBurner to close its doors for good, owners say

A beloved Rocklin brunch spot has announced it is closing its doors for good next month.

“It is with heavy hearts and hopeful minds that we inform you that after 7 unforgettable years we have sold the restaurant,” the owners of BarnBurner said on social media.

The owners of the restaurant, located on Granite Drive, said they had sold the restaurant to the owners of Hot off the Griddle, a breakfast and comfort food joint with locations in Natomas and Orangevale.

BarnBurner will be remodeled and reopen as Hot off the Griddle’s third location, the owners said.

“It was a difficult decision for us because we love the restaurant, our customers and the amazing team of people who work for us making this place what it is, owners said on their Facebook page. “We’ve spent these last years building a business we are proud of by doing what we love most- serving others.”

An official closing date has not yet been announced.

BarnBurner’s announcement was met with sadness on social media, with hundreds commenting on the post and lamenting the loss of the local restaurant.

“During the next month, please, come in to say goodbye and dine with us as much as possible! We want to cherish as many memories with you before this precious chapter of our lives come to an end,” the owners said. “Thank you for being such wonderful customers and we will definitely miss you all!
