Elk Grove steakhouse voted best in California by Yelp. Restaurant reopens in July
An Elk Grove restaurant has been voted best steakhouse in California by Yelp.
Little Brazil Steakhouse located at 8698 Elk Grove Blvd., Suite 3, near Highway 99 was voted California’s best steakhouse after Yelp’s database-generated results determined the highest-rated steakhouses in each state. The community-driven review platform first produced the list for Nexstar Media Group.
The steakhouse’s website describes itself as a family-friendly Brazilian Steakhouse that offers a variety of rotisserie-cooked meats and sides. Customers have full control over their portions and pay based on the dish’s weight after choosing what to eat.
The steakhouse closed temporarily due to family matters on Sunday, the store said in an announcement on its website. It plans to reopen July 15.
“As a local, small business, we appreciate your support and always strive to provide the best quality food and service,” the restaurant wrote in its announcement.
Little Brazil’s owner, Ronan DeFarias, 49, declined to comment Sunday on Yelp’s findings due to overseas travel.
Its regular hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday; on Sundays, it is open from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The steakhouse is closed Tuesdays.
