A popular Tawainese bakery chain has opened its third Sacramento-area location.
85° C Bakery is currently in its soft opening phase at 11009 Olson Drive, Suite 708 in Rancho Cordova.
The pastry shop and cafe will host a grand opening on Friday, Aug. 16, according to its social media pages.
There are already two 85° C Bakery locations in the Sacramento area: at the Arden Fair shopping center and in the Sky Parkway area.
What is 85° C Bakery?
Cheng-Hsueh Wu founded 85°C Bakery in 2003 with the aim of creating a cafe that offers affordable and premium coffee, bread and pastries, according to the chain’s website.
There are now more than 1,000 85°C Bakery locations across the globe, according to the franchise’s website.
The first 85° C Bakery location in the United States opened in Irvine in 2008.
What’s on the menu at Taiwanese cafe and bakery?
At 85° C Bakery, you can find handcrafted and made-to-order coffee and tea drinks, as well as an in-shop bakery that specializes in pastries and gourmet cakes, the franchise said.
The menu features sweet and savory bread and pastries such as custard buns, sugared cream cheese brioche, potato croquettes and ham-and-cheese bread.
You can also a variety of cookies, cupcakes and cakes in flavors ranging from red velvet and strawberry cream to tiramisu.
The cafe offers espresso coffee, lattes, teas, milk teas and smoothies.
Where are pastry shop locations in California?
There are dozens of 85° C Bakery locations across California, including cafes in the Bay Area and Southern California.
In the Sacramento area, you can find locations at 1689 Arden Way, Suite 1186, in Arden Arcade and 5591 Sky Parkway, Suite 411, in Sacramento.
