Downtown Sacramento Partnership’s summer happy hour series, “Sunset Sips,” is returning for its third year, offering discounted drink specials every Wednesday through Sept. 24.

More than 20 local bars and restaurants are participating in the promotion, which runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Guests can choose from select beer, wine, cocktail, and mocktail options priced at $5, $7 and $9.

The initiative aims to draw residents and visitors to the grid during peak summer evenings, boosting foot traffic and supporting small businesses.

“Sunset Sips is a perfect example of how affordable and accessible programming can positively impact local businesses and bring people together,” said Michael Ault, executive director of the Downtown Sacramento Partnership. “This year, we’re keeping the buzz going through September, giving people more time to enjoy downtown.”
