Popular taproom chain Yard House is putting the final touches on its newest location in Folsom’s Palladio shopping center. The restaurant will open on Sunday, Feb. 8, just in time for Super Bowl.

This will be the third location in the region, alongside existing restaurants at Sacramento’s Downtown Commons and The Fountains at Roseville.

The restaurants are known for the expansive beer selections, with each location offering more than 90 draft domestic and import brews plus an array of crafted cocktails.

Each location’s management selects the beers on tap. The Folsom location will feature a Local Brews menu, highlighting craft beers from the area. Included in the inaugural selection will be American Pale Ale New Glory Gummy Worms from Sacramento, Burning Barrel Brewing Co.’s seasonal sour from Rancho Cordova and Auburn’s Crooked Lane 1-2 Punch, a hazy IPA.

Yard House’s kitchens serve up an eclectic mix of contemporary pub grub. Dishes range from approachable American classics like burgers, wings and pizzas to items with more international flair such as Korean rib eye, shiitake garlic noodles and spicy za’atar hummus.

Yard House stores its beers in special glass-enclosed keg rooms kept at 36 degrees Fahrenheit. The beer flows to a central island bar via overhead lines.

Founded in 1996, Yard House now has more than 90 restaurants across 23 states. It is open daily for lunch, dinner, happy hour and late-night dining.

The Sacramento location opened in 2018, and the Roseville eatery opened in 2011.
