For almost 100 years, this historic spot was a community space for all Sacramentens to come together for art, music, food and a great cocktail. The reinvented restaurant in midtown’s Hyatt House crafts French-leaning cuisine to match the Romanesque Revival facade of its exterior.

“The Star Lounge continues the tradition of keeping this space an incubator of creativity, an oasis of thought, and a great place to let loose and unwind,” according to the Historic Star Lounge’s website.

Frog and Slim was inspired by supper clubs that spawned from the end of Prohibition. The restaurant seeks to offer a special evening of lovely meals and a chance to be in community with those around you.

Butterscotch Den describes itself as a place where dive bar soul meets elevated taste.

This Sacramento dive bar keeps dive bar energy alive, but raises the bar on everything else. A favorite customer experience of pairing a drink with a “bump” of caviar.

Enjoy an elevated casual dining experience at Butcher and Barrel

Butcher and Barrel says it has “redefined the traditional steakhouse with a fresh, innovative approach — offering upscale cuisine in a relaxed, welcoming environment,” according to the restaurant’s website.

The modern Italian seafood and wine bar gathers people in a celebration of Italy. Highlights include fresh hand-made pastas, locally sourced ingredients and more than 22-foot tall wine cellar.
