Popular Bay Area-based pizza chain coming to Granite Bay. Here’s what’s to know
Slice House by Tony Gemignani, a popular fast-casual pizza concept that started in the Bay Area, will be opening its second Sacramento-region location in Granite Bay’s Sierra Oaks Plaza Center at 4060 Douglas Blvd. in late March.
Slice House serves up an eclectic variety of pizza styles, including New York, Detroit, grandma and Sicilian. Toppings range from traditional to more creative, like chicken bacon ranch. The restaurant also serves antipasti, salads, pastas and desserts.
The first location opened by franchisees Sandeep and Harjot Gill in Folsom in 2024. The Gills chose this moment for the expansion, after testing the success of the inaugural launch.
“Granite Bay is an ideal artisan pizza spot,” said Sandeep Gill. “After seeing the response at our Folsom restaurant, I know firsthand how much the brand resonates with locals and the greater Sacramento area.”
For the grand opening, the restaurant is planning a variety of events including giveaways and an opportunity to win free pizza for a year. Events will be announced as the opening date approaches.
At the time of the Folsom opening, Slice House said it planned locations in Sacramento, Elk Grove and Roseville. The Gills have left that option open.
“We continue to anticipate having locations in those cities in the future, as we have franchisees who have committed to development in these areas,” a spokesperson for Slice House said. “However, there is currently no current timeline at the moment.”
