Where are Sacramento-area Black-owned, -run food businesses? Search our database

Sacramento foodies can travel the entire globe, due in no small part to Black-owned and -run restaurants. From West African cuisine to Afro-Latino delicacies, American South comfort to sugary confections are spread across the entire region.

With Black History Month coming to a close, Sacramento foodies may take a moment to reflect on their favorite Black-owned spots to patronize year-round and discover new spots to try.

We gathered our list by going through The Bee’s archives, the Capital Black Chamber of Commerce directory and compiled some additions from influencers CatchingFeedings.
