‘From farm to cup’: Temple Coffee Roasters to expand into Fair Oaks
The Sacramento regional coffee chain, Temple Coffee Roasters, is expanding to Fair Oaks.
The new Temple Coffee will be inside Hazel Ridge Plaza at 4307 Hazel Ave., according to reporting from the Sacramento Business Journal. The new location will join businesses like Donut Stop, Mikuni, O’Haira’s Nail Spa and Hazel Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
Known as Sacramento’s “from farm to cup” coffee shop, Temple Coffee partners directly with local producers and farmers. Temple Coffee prides itself on striving to “reach the pinnacle of flavor and aroma with each roast every time,” its website said.
Local realtor Allie Billings posted on social media the location will open in the “next 2-3 months.”
Temple Coffee management did not respond requests for more information.
“From harvesting, milling, transportation, packing, exportation, importation, roasting, and brewing we are deliberate and meticulous every step of the way to ensure that every cup of coffee served is of the highest quality,” Temple’s website said.
Temple Coffee is located across Sacramento County and neighboring cities. These locations are:
- The K Street/midtown location on 2200 K St. Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The 16th Street/midtown location on 1615 16th St. Open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The S Street/midtown location on 2829 S St. Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The 9th Street location on 1010 9th St. Open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- The H Street/East Sacramento location on 4201 H St. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- The Arden Arcade location on 2600 Fair Oaks Blvd., Ste 101. Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- The Davis location on 239 G Street. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- The Folsom location on 2776 East Bidwell St., Suite 500. Open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Temple Coffee started out in 2005 after its founder Sean Kohmescher spent time in Indonesia, according to its website. The mission of Temple Coffee was to create a “community gathering place” similar to the temples he visited in Indonesia.
“His vision was simple: good vibes, great service, and exceptionally well-prepared coffee,” the website said.
