When I moved into my place, I noticed that there was an awkward corner right when you walked through the door. The cabinet itself is made of MDF wood and is pretty sturdy. It was well packaged in the box and was fairly easy to put together. (It took my mom and me about an hour or so.) I was really impressed with the whole process. It even included circular stickers with the same color and grain of the wood to disguise the screws, and I thought this was such a nice touch.
For me, the best thing about this cabinet is not only how nice it looks, but how functional it is, too. I love my place, but it really lacks storage except for one large walk-in closet (which I have filled with my clothing collection — I am a shopping editor, after all). Therefore, I’m always looking for new ways to increase my storage space. I love that this cabinet has a large storage area and an adjustable shelf, and I appreciate that the doors are also wood, so guests can’t see that I’ve got my extra toilet paper rolls inside.
After putting it together, I easily slid it right into the corner, filled the shelves and added a few decor touches to the top (including one of these beautiful bowls from Anthropologie I picked up this weekend). It completely transformed my entryway, and now I think it’s my new favorite area of my home. I had friends over on Saturday night, and all of them were complimenting the cabinet. And they were shocked when I told them I got it on Amazon.
I opted for the walnut color, but it’s also available in black and neutral. And while it doesn’t have too many other reviews yet, others are fans of this cabinet.
