A man has been arrested in the fatal hit-and-run of a woman running during the lunch hour in South Natomas on Tuesday, Sacramento police said late Thursday.

As of 10:20 p.m. Thursday, police have not yet identified the suspect. In a post on Twitter, police said they had located the white pickup truck suspected in the crime.

The man turned himself in Thursday afternoon, according to Sacramento Police Department spokesman Sgt. Vance Chandler. Police are waiting for investigators to complete their follow up before releasing the man's name and mug shot.

The runner was struck at about 11:44 a.m. Tuesday while crossing Grasslands Drive at West El Camino Avenue, police said. She was later identified by the Sacramento County Coroner's Office as Ericka Jennifer Hann, 47, of Orangevale.

A white, slightly raised pickup truck with a camper shell and loud exhaust was headed southbound on Grasslands Drive when it turned onto West El Camino Avenue and hit the woman, according to Lt. Paul Freeman, a Sacramento Police Department spokesman.
