Several Placer County schools were briefly locked down as man barricaded himself in car
Several Placer County schools were locked down briefly Wednesday while Placer County sheriff’s deputies dealt with a man who barricaded himself in his car on Foresthill Road.
The man was taken into custody at around 10:35 a.m. Wednesday. Foresthill Road was closed in both directions while deputies dealt with the situation, the Sheriff’s Department said.
Foresthill High School, Foresthill Charter School and Foresthill Elementary School were placed on a brief lockdown, ending at 10:35 a.m.
