McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park
The McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park offers lush forest walks and lake shoreline as well as the 129-foot-tall Burney Falls. The park was named after 1850s pioneer settler Samuel Burney who lived in the area and the McArthurs who arrived in the area in the late 1800s.

The park is northeast of Redding, six miles north of Highway 299 on Highway 89 near Burney.
