Bee Best: Brady Nave of Colfax wins Prep of the Week poll

Brady Nave hasn’t been a power hitter this season for Colfax High School, but he produced two big extra-base hits in a Golden Empire League rout of Lindhurst.

In an 18-0 effort over the Blazers, Nave tripled and homered and drove in four runs to keep the Falcons in the Pioneer Valley League chase, thus earning Bee Prep of the Week honors for the week of April 25.

The triple and homer are the only ones the sophomore infielder has hit this season, one in which he is batting .297 with 11 RBI and 20 runs scored.

Colfax enters this week at 15-7 overall and 10-3 in league play two games against first-place Marysville (23-3, 12-1) to cap the regular season.
