American Airlines swaps terminals at Sacramento International
American Airlines will move from Terminal B to Terminal A at Sacramento International Airport effective Feb. 24.
Airport officials said American Airlines and US Airways have gradually consolidated since their merger started in December 2013. The move at Sacramento International allows American to be located next to the US Airways ticket counter in Terminal A.
The final flight from Terminal B for American Airlines will take place in the evening on Feb. 23.
The two airlines will have separate ticket counters and sell tickets on each other’s flights until the merger is finished. At that point, the combined airline will operate under the American Airlines name.
