Devil May Care ice cream shop gets scooping in West Sacramento
Devil May Care Ice Cream & Frozen Treats hosted a “soft” opening on Saturday in West Sacramento.
The sweet stop at 322 Third St., apparently had a good day; it sold out of ice cream, according to a Facebook post.
The eatery is overseen by local Chef Jess Milbourn, former co-owner of The Eatery in West Sacramento.
Grand-opening festivities are scheduled for Wednesday.
The restaurant touts “real ice cream with very few ingredients.” Saturday’s popular offerings included vanilla, chocolate & egg nog ice creams and a piña colada sorbet.
In a Facebook post, Devil May Care is promising more flavors and float combinations in the future.
The website, devilmaycareicecream.com, is still under development, with a full menu planned in the near future.
