Stucco maker Omega Products expanding in Sacramento
The Rancho Cordova office of stucco manufacturer Omega Products International plans to more than triple its existing warehouse operation, expanding into a new, larger space in Sacramento.
Omega currently operates in a 15,000-square-foot facility at 3362 Fitzgerald Road in Rancho Cordova but says it will move in the next few months into a 50,000-square-foot site at 8111 Fruitridge Road.
The company employs 25 but plans to add 15 more jobs with the move, said Pierre Kacsinta, spokesman for Corona-based Omega Products International. He said the company has already hired two additional warehouse operators and one sales representative.
Omega Products is a manufacturer and distributor of commercial and residential stucco systems, finishes and related products. It also has facilities in Bakersfield, Las Vegas and Denver.
In a statement, the company said its upcoming local move dovetails with the West Coast’s improving construction industry. The company said its biggest orders outside California are in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and North Dakota.
