UTI’s Sacramento campus opens center for military vets
Universal Technical Institute’s Sacramento campus opened a new center on Thursday to help military veterans make the transition to civilian life.
UTI’s campus at 4100 Duckhorn Drive off Interstate 5 provides technical training for students seeking careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians. UTI has about a dozen campuses nationwide.
UTI said the new Sacramento center will enable military veteran students to get information on health benefits, housing and various UTI programs. The center also includes a small library of veterans affairs materials.
