Lucky Charms has made its appearance on breakfast tables throughout the United States since 1964.

Many people who eat the cereal will admit they like it only for the marshmallows.

For those people, their dreams are about to come true.

General Mills is making a marshmallow-only version of the cereal and will give away 10,000 free boxes.

Talk about a sweet deal.

Remember having to pick the marshmallows out yourself and separate them from the toasted oat pieces? Those days will soon be over – at least for a little while.

General Mills says the promotion will be placed on specially marked boxes soon and it will run through December.
