California Family Fitness in Pocket to host grand opening

California Family Fitness will host grand opening festivities Saturday at its 30,000-square-foot center in the Pocket neighborhood of south Sacramento.

The center, at 1349 Florin Road, is Orangevale-based CFF’s 19th facility. It includes fitness programs, cycle classes, personal training, a cardio theater, a sauna/steam room, massage beds, a smoothie bar and a kids’ play area.

Scheduled activities Saturday include a meet-and-greet with Sacramento Kings player Ben McLemore from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., a 2 p.m. Zumba/Body Fit session, a 3 p.m. kids’ Easter egg hunt and Body Fit session and a 3:15 p.m. performance by the Sacramento Kings Dancers. Kids’ activities, food and fitness vendors, and fitness experts also will be on-site.
