A West Sacramento firm that specializes in producing energy-efficient accessory cooling systems for commercial buildings has been purchased by Australia’s largest air conditioning manufacturer.
Seeley International announced the acquisition of Integrated Comfort Inc. in a media release. Specific financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
Under the deal, Integrated Comfort will continue to operate under its existing brand name and management team. The local company has around a dozen employees.
“This acquisition is a perfect fit for both organizations, strengthening our presence in the lucrative U.S. market and supporting our trajectory growth to become a $1 billion company,” Jon Seeley, Seeley International Group managing director, said in a statement.
ICI’s core DualCool product will now become part of Seeley’s portfolio that includes brands such as Breezair, Climate Wizard, Coolerado, Convair, Coolair and Braemar.
Integrated Comfort Inc. was founded in 1992. Seeley International has been in business since 1972.
