GenCorp name and stock trading symbol to change Monday
GenCorp Inc., the parent of Aerojet Rocketdyne, will officially change the company’s name to Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings Inc., effective Monday.
Simultaneously, the company’s common stock will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange and Chicago Stock Exchange under the trading symbol “AJRD.” Shares currently trade under the symbol “GY.”
The company said outstanding stock certificates will not be affected by the name change and will not need to be exchanged.
Also on Monday, the company’s website will become aerojetrocketdyne.com.
GenCorp announced its intention to change its name and stock trading symbol in early March.
