New Xfinity stores opening Saturday in Sacramento, Roseville

Comcast is opening new Xfinity stores Saturday in Sacramento and Roseville.

The 5,052-square-foot store in Suite 100 of the Delta Shores shopping complex, 8258 Delta Shores Circle South, in south Sacramento has 15 employees. The 4,254-square-foot store in Suite 100 of the Fountains at Roseville shopping complex, 1162 Roseville Parkway, employs 13.

Comcast California in Livermore said the local openings are the first two of 10 Xfinity stores scheduled to open statewide in the first half of this year, employing about 150.

In Roseville, grand-opening activities will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.; festivities are scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. at the new Sacramento store.

The stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Comcast noted that the Roseville Xfinity store at 1850 Douglas Blvd. and the Xfinity store at 8211 Bruceville Road have closed and are being replaced with the new sites.
