Walmart has opened a temporary hiring center at 7235 Franklin Blvd., Suite 1, in south Sacramento, near the new Walmart Neighborhood Market it plans to open this summer.
The market, set to open in July, will be in the Southgate Plaza shopping complex at Franklin Boulevard and Florin Road.
Wal-Mart said it will fill about 95 full- and part-time positions in the store. Most of the new hires will begin work in June to prepare for the store’s opening.
Applications will be accepted weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the hiring center or online at careers.walmart.com. Wal-Mart also said it will offer jobs to qualified veterans who were honorably discharged in the last 12 months. Details are at walmartcareerswithamission.com.
