Cesca Therapeutics Inc., a Rancho Cordova medical device company, said Monday that Dan Bessey has resigned as the company’s chief financial officer effective Saturday.
Cesca said Bessey will become chief financial officer of Hawaiian Telcom, a provider of integrated communications services to business and residential customers in Hawaii.
Michael Bruch has been appointed as Cesca’s interim chief financial officer. Bruch, 50, has served as Cesca’s controller since joining the company in 2003.
Cesca formerly operated as ThermoGenesis Corp. It was renamed in 2014 after finalizing its merger with Los Angeles-based TotipotentRX Corp.
