New CEO named for Local Health Plans of California
Brianna Lierman has been named the new CEO of the Sacramento-based Local Health Plans of California.
Lierman will take over her new duties Monday.
She comes to LHPC from the California Health & Wellness health plan, where she served as vice president of government affairs.
LHPC represents 16 public nonprofit health plans in California, serving predominantly low-income individuals through the Medi-Cal program. LHPC plans provide care to more than 5.5 million members enrolled in Medi-Cal managed care.
Lierman succeeds Jennifer Kent, who is now director of the California Department of Health Care Services.
