Sports Authority celebrates new Sacramento store with giveaways

Sports Authority will host grand-opening festivities this weekend at its new sporting goods store at 3350 Arden Way in Sacramento.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. Saturday. The first 100 customers in line will receive at $25 gift card; the next 100 will receive a $10 gift card. Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dwight Clark is scheduled to appear from 1 to 2:30 p.m. On Sunday, the first 200 customers spending $15 or more will receive a free camp chair.

Colorado-based Sports Authority has 462 stores in 41 states and Puerto Rico.
