Gas prices fall throughout Northern California

Motorists throughout Northern California experienced price relief at gas pumps in recent weeks, according AAA’s monthly gas price survey, released Tuesday.

In Sacramento, AAA said the average cost, as of Tuesday, for unleaded regular was $3.36 a gallon, down 18 cents from the AAA survey of May 11. The average price throughout Northern California was $3.46, down 16 cents from last month.

Statewide, the average price was $3.59 a gallon, a 14-cent monthly decline.

The least expensive gas in Northern California was in Marysville, where the average for unleaded regular was $3.14 a gallon, down 18 cents in one month.
