Southwest adding winter season flights between Sacramento and Boise
Southwest Airlines, the largest carrier at Sacramento International Airport, will add a new, seasonal nonstop service between Sacramento and Boise, Idaho, beginning in January.
Southwest and airport officials noted that Boise is a popular winter destination for leisure travelers.
The once-a-day flights will be available Monday through Thursday and on Saturdays, starting Jan. 5 and going through March 8.
Southwest offers more than 60 flights a day out of the Sacramento airport.
