Generally flat labor demand was reflected in a mixed bag of online job listings in July in Sacramento and throughout California, according to the latest monthly report by The Conference Board.
Golden State employers posted 605,700 online ads last month, up 12,000, or 2 percent, from 593,700 in June, according to the New York-based business research group. The July total was a 7.5 percent improvement over 563,300 job vacancy ads posted in July 2014.
Sacramento saw a slight monthly drop, with employers posting 28,500 online ads in July, down about 4.7 percent from 29,900 in June. The July total was up about 4.8 percent from 27,200 in July last year.
