Aftershock draws record crowd of 164,000 to Sacramento’s Discovery Park

This year’s Aftershock festival drew a record 164,000 attendees to Sacramento’s Discovery Park, organizers said, up from 160,000 last year.

The festival this year — headlined by Blink-182 on Oct. 2, Deftones on Oct. 3, and Korn on Oct. 4 — drew fans from 50 states and more than 30 countries, according to a news release.

The festival began as a single-day event in 2012, has grown steadily over the years. It has been a four-day event since 2021.
