Sacramento County-based credit unions stayed on the growth track over the past year ended June 30, according to statistics released by the California Credit Union League.
CCUL said 10 credit unions headquartered in Sacramento County had 1.12 million members through the first half of 2015 , a nearly 7.5 percent increase over 2014.
County credit unions had loaned out a combined $7.35 billion in the region, up 23.4 percent over the year-ago period. Loans included first mortgages, home equity lines of credit, business loans, auto loans and credit cards.
Auto loans saw the biggest year-over-year increase by far, up 53.1 percent from 2014.

CCUL said Sacramento County credit unions held $12.5 billion in consumer deposits, up 8.6 over last year.
Ontario-based CCUL is the state trade association for 361 credit unions headquartered in California.
