A quartet of area CEOs will headline the Sacramento Regional Technology Alliance’s “TechCon Sacramento” event on Nov. 6.
The event, from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Convention Center, 1400 J St., brings together experts from various technology sectors, including agriculture, clean energy and medical technology. It provides breakout sessions with an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas to industry leaders and prospective investors.
Keynote speakers include Roger Beachy, founding director of the UC Davis World Food Center; Arlen Orchard, general manager and CEO of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District; Ken Ouimet, CEO of Engage3, developer of a mobile app for shoppers; and Ruth Tesar, CEO of Northern California PET/Optimal Tracers, the Sacramento-based high-tech imaging firm.
Also scheduled to speak is Aaron Frank, business development manager of Singularity University in Silicon Valley. Singularity is a benefit corporation that offers educational programs, partnerships and a startup accelerator program for individuals, businesses and investors.
