New president named for Universal Technical Institute’s Sacramento campus

Tess Dubois-Carey has been named the new president of Universal Technical Institute’s Sacramento campus.

Dubois-Carey is a seven-year UTI veteran and previously worked as student services director and campus admissions director.

The UTI campus, opened in 2005, is at 4100 Duckhorn Drive along Interstate 5 north of downtown Sacramento.

As president, Dubois-Carey will oversee more than 140 employees at the 245,000-square-foot campus, which has a capacity to train 2,100 students.

UTI specializes in post-secondary education for students seeking careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based UTI oversees 12 campuses nationwide.
