The Sacramento Employment and Training Agency on Wednesday is hosting an event providing information on programs that can help people with disabilities find work.
The event at 5655 Hillsdale Blvd., Suite 8 – just north of the intersection of Madison Avenue and Interstate 80 in Sacramento – is being held in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
Check-in is at 9:30 a.m.. The morning session begins at 10 a.m. and is geared to Supplemental Security Income and Social Security Disability Insurance recipients and the Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work Program,
The afternoon session begins at 1 p.m. and will cover a wide range of topics related to employing people with disabilities. Participants will have the opportunity to speak with Sacramento Works job coaches and other employment experts on-site.
